What the direct test actually showed

These are observations from one architecture test, not a universal model ranking.

With the same simple exterior prompt, the reviewer saw more varied vegetation and clearer roof shingles from Nano Banana 2; GPT Image 2 showed repeated-looking textures.
With a more detailed prompt, Nano Banana 2 produced a strong image but changed the viewpoint. A retry with an explicit instruction not to alter the camera angle fixed it.
In the people test, the reviewer gave the round to GPT Image 2 because the Nano Banana 2 scene felt emptier and the mood was weaker.
For a floor plan generated from a viewport, Nano Banana 2 preserved the object count more accurately and won that round in the review.

Where the result changes

The same video does not reduce the comparison to one winner. Some interior tasks were close, while other rounds split between the two models.

A simple prompt and a detailed prompt changed the relative result on the same exterior.
Geometry and viewpoint preservation need to be checked separately from materials, lighting and overall realism.
